The new Sapphire+ – our Sapphire product improvement with reduced use of solvents

Our Sapphire Art. 366, which has proven itself over many years in high-quality offset printing, is now about to be replaced by our latest further development, Sapphire+ Art. 324.

With the Sapphire+ we provide you with our new Phoenix SCT carcass (Sandwich Comp Technology) combined with the proven Sapphire surface for the highest demands in offset printing. The printing results of the new Sapphire+ compared to the previous one leave nothing to be desired.

Thanks to the particularly durable substructure, we were able to improve the impressive printing properties of the predecessor even further in terms of a longer service life. For example, Sapphire+ Art. 324 is now significantly more resistant against paper edges and at the same time this new carcass technology has very low elongation values.

With this development, we have also succeeded in further reducing the use of solvents in the production of printing blankets. This enabled us to advance our long-term efforts for environmentally friendly production in the direction of sustainability.

In order to make the changeover to the new product as smooth as possible for you, you can order the old version of Sapphire Art. 366 parallel to the new Sapphire+ Art. 324 until June 30th, 2021 as usual.
